Who we are
Stansted Coach House is a modern apartment hotel with the highest standards of cleanliness and quality and in immaculate condition, beautifully decorated and equipped with all modern amenities. Just as you would at a standard hotel, you only need to bring your suitcase. Everything you could need in the apartment is already provided, towels, bedding, shampoo and much much more.

The apartment has a large open plan family sized living area, kitchen, bedroom and modern bathroom. The apartment includes everything you could possibly need to make your stay as comfortable as possible and just like being at home. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with dining table & 4 chairs (baby high chair available upon request), mini oven/grill with 2 hobs, washing machine, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, sink, cutlery, plates, cups, glasses etc. high quality bedding, linen, towels etc are all included. The modern luxury bathroom has a double size walk in shower cubicle, toilet, sink, towels and toiletries.

We operate on the basis of only offering somewhere that we would be happy to stay at ourselves. As such we pride ourselves on our standard of cleanliness, comfort, quality and excellent friendly service.
We are very family friendly and have made everything safe for children. The windows have safety locks installed (but the windows can be fully opened if needed – when young children are not present). We have a travel cot available for free if needed (the maximum occupancy is 4 people however 1 additional baby of under 2 years can stay when using the provided cot).
There are 2 children’s playgrounds and a park immediately opposite.
The apartment is in a peaceful, safe, quiet, picturesque area. Easily accessible for Stansted, London, Cambridge and M11. Elsenham train station (trains to London, Stansted and Cambridge) and the bus stop to / from Stansted Airport and Bishop’s Stortford is a 7 minute walk.

The apartment is a in a quiet and peaceful street in the pretty village of Elsenham. The area is very safe and friendly. The view from the apartment is over the historic Alsa Wood forest which offers numerous picturesque walks and leads through to the nearby nature reserve.
A supermarket and takeaway is within a 5 minute walk. There is also The Crown Inn pub which serves a range of excellent drinks and food which is 7 minutes walk. There are multiple food delivery options or a range of additional shops, bars and restaurants can be found in Stansted just a 3 minute drive away, or in Bishop’s Stortford, which is within 10 minutes.
The apartment is less than 4km (7 min drive) from Stansted Airport which is easily accessible by car, taxi, bus or from the train station which is a 7 minute walk away. It is a 7 minute drive/taxi to Stansted Airport or there is a bus which takes 10 minutes and costs just £2. We can help with arrangements, advice, local knowledge or providing low cost travel options/taxi details.
